I had about five hours in the Finnair lounge before my half past midnight flight to Singapore.

Not too hard to take, really. It’s a good lounge, as I knew from my last visit here in June 2023, when I bought lounge access on my Business Light fare.

With a few hours up my sleeve, I planned to enjoy my time here, get a bit of work done, fill all of my batteries with electricity, fill me up with champagne, before climbing aboard my plane and more of the same, perhaps with some sleep thrown in while someone else was driving.

First things first. Dinner and a drink. I found a cosy nook, plugged a few things in, had a look around the lounge.

To be honest, there wasn’t a real lot that looked both appealing and healthy. Fruit juice and coffee. Cheese and crackers and fruit.

Champagne.
