The whole story is fanciful. No need to speculate about UFOs; it is all fiction apart from Jesus being born.

He was just a regular baby, born to poor parents in Nazareth and nobody but his parents worshipped him, any more than their other children.

Later on, of course, he became notable, and after his death even more so. That's when people began making up stories to add to the legend.
