On your main point, absolutely correct. I'll look at reviews when I'm in the market for something or when I've bought it and want to make sure I'm not missing any features or I've made the right bdecision or just to go nuts over whatever bit of tech or toy is giving me the hots right now.

Stories, hell, there are more stories than I'll ever read and people keep writing new ones faster than I can keep up. That supply will never run dry.

Opinion pieces are the same but most people are pushing a barrow and if it's not my barrow as well, it's irritating. If it is my barrow then I'm in the choir being sung to.

What I want from opinion pieces are new perspectives, new ideas, new ways for me to order my life and my thoughts.
